New Galactica off to a sluggish start
Is it just me or was the premier not all that interesting? Maybe it was all the Iraq allegories, or just the hopeless tone in general. To be honest I was hoping for some kind of brilliant surprise attack by the Battlestars, but that didn't happen. Any comments?

I was disappointed in the 1st hour and a half of the premiere. Then I finally started getting in to it a little more. Some of the acting was a little fake, or was it the writing? The whole thing with Starbuck is pretty weak.
I've seen the second episode too. The oldest trick in the book, right next to the "oh, it was all a dream" trick. "One hour earlier." My ass. Callie was running in the woods at the end of the premiere. Chief knocks her down right next the same dirt hill area she and everyone else was about to get gunned down in the second episode.
I'm still looking forward to when the say "3 months later" so I don't have to look at the poor acting from Apollo. I mean if you're gonna play a fat guy, why not really get fat, because wearing makeup just doesn't make you fat.
Still the best Sci-fi show on.
